From 12 to 14 of April 2012atthe Red Banner Black Sea Fleet staff members of Scientific-Research department 22 Tchurikov A.Yu. and Lazarev D.V. took part in carrying out of electromagnetic compatibility tests of the surface ship “Dagestan” radio-electronic means as a part ofmanufacturers’
sea trials.
The naval base command expressed gratitude based on the results of work and rendering of technical assistance to ship trials crew (“Podzagolovok” equipment adjustment, its interface with the ship radio-electronic means).

On the 20th - 23rd of March, 2012 in Moscow, in Ecî Center “Sokolniki” the 15th anniversary International Salon of Inventions and Innovative Technologies “Archimedes-2012” took place.
OJSC “CSRI Kurs” for the 10th time became a participant of Moscow International Salon “Archimedes”.
According to the decision of the Salon “Archimedes” International Jury a Diploma and a commemorative prize were awarded to the Winner of the contest “The best inventor of Moscow” Director General of OJSC “CSRI Kurs” Klyachko Lev Mikhaylovich.
Award winners in the same category became specialists of the institute who are the authors of the three inventions.

On the 21st of March, 2012 a conference concerning arrangement and conduction of International Forum “Marine Industry of Russia” Business Programme activities took place at OJSC “CSRI Kurs”.
The following issue-related “round tables” moderators, executives and responsible representatives took part in the conducted conference:
Shipbuilding Industry and Marine Technology Department of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation; OJSC “United Shipbuilding Corporation”; FSUE “CRI named after academician A.N. Krylov”; Department of the Federal Agency for Fishery on fleet and port management and monitoring; Association of Shipping Companies; Joint stock corporation "Shipbuilding & Shiprepair Technology Center"; OJSC “CSRI Kurs”; “MegaExpo”, OOO, Exhibition Company.
In the course of the conference a decision was made to conduct as a part of the Business Programme six “round tables”, their topics were specified, the entry list was spelt out and defined, and also other matters related to the agenda were addressed.

According to the results of annual all-Russian contest “Engineer of the Year” organized by the Russian Union of Scientific and Engineering Associations (USEA) with the support of the Government of the Russian Federation the following members of staff of CSRI “Kurs” were marked with commemorative awards in the nomination “Informatics, Information networks, Computing”:
- Milovanov Maksim Aleksandrovich, the finalist of the all-Russian contest “Engineer of the Year” according to the results of the year 2011 in the category “Professional Engineers”, was awarded the “Professional Engineer of Russia” badge and was entered into the Register of Professional Engineers of Russia.
- Dvornikov Kirill Aleksandrovich, the finalist of the all-Russian contest “Engineer of the Year” according to the results of the year 2011 in the category "Engineering Skill of the Young", was awarded the diploma of the winner of the 1st round.

In the period from the 17-th to 19-th of November The World Salon of Innovations Scientific research and New Technologies “Brussels-Innova|Eureka 2011, Brussels, Belgium, was held. Scientific workers of OJSC “CSRI “Kurs’ Khanichtv V.V. and Dovgobrod M.M. took part in this salon. As a result of the Salon OJSC “CSRI’ Kurs” received; 2 gold medals, 3 silver medals, including medal from Polish Association of Designers. Our workers also received special prizes: Dovgobrod M. M. – from Roumanian delegation and Khanichev V. V. from Polish delegation.

November On the 15-th of November 2011 General Director of OJSC “CSRI” Kurs” Lev Mikhailovich Klyachko successfully defended a thesis for a doctor’s degree of technical sciences - Ph.D (system analysis, control and information procession).

“ Holland Shipyards BV”, “Maaskant Shihyards Stellendam”,
“Padmos Stellendam BV”, which are engaged in building
of coastwise transport vessels, fishing vessels and vessels for
inner water ways. In connection with mutual interest of
the Sides plans for further joint activities were made.
